JUST BE YOURSELF

I am really tired of people that be as though they were(king James English)..its getting really irritating.. First and foremost ladies if you come out as who you really are people would appreciate you more for it, rather than forming and looking stupid...for instance you over form the phone and end up with all the h ness in the world, meanwhile you can have spoken ur normal way and people would know that you dont have any h factor,i remember one very funny incidence at Auto lounge,"we were getting in and the FBI looking guards were trying stop this yellow babe from coming in and then she spoke in phone to her brother who she made look like her driver and said go and bring my shoes and the boy said no after so many shouting and she finally went to get it herself,it was a bit boring so we were coming out of the place only for us to hear this babe in the heaviest Yoruba accent asking her brother that he should have just formed and gone to bring the shoes"i cried that day with laughter..Nobody is saying you should not form, but pls sisters be sensible...

Men dont tell us what you are not biko,if you still in school and you are forming entertainment industry, bank or oil and gas just because you want to feel among,it doesn't do yo any good. There is space for everybody and things are best done in their own time.
To all my players(men) out there; no statement has ever made more sense than WHAT A MAN CAN DO A WOMAN CAN DO BETTER"

HE THAT HAS EARS,JE KO GBO OH!(MEANING HE THAT HAS EARS LET HIM HEAR)

The Future Awards UNVEILS Season 6 with #TheAuthenticCelebration

The organizers of The Future Awards (TFA), regarded as Nigeria’s biggest youth event, have announced the kick off of the sixth season. The Future Awards is an annual series of events that last an average of six months, kicking off in October every year and lasting through the awards to the post-awards school seminars.

According to designer Ohimai Atafo, who heads the Central Working Committee, “it kicks off with an official launch event, and then town hall meetings across the country and outside (last year: Ghana, South Africa and the United Kingdom). Then there is the Nominees Reception and the Get Your Green On! style campaign – it’s always an exciting period.”

The official launch event is an invitation-only event and holds on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Terra Kulture in Lagos.

“This year it’s special,” says Debbie Mangut, the awards’ External Relations director. “The Future Awards is passing its 5th year in the same year that Nigeria is passing its 50th. For both, it’s the beginning of a new era, and to mark that era, we are doing a special event called Face of the Future. Here, we have selected 50 of the past winners of The Future Awards who have made continued impact and are relevant at the moment and we are celebrating them. The old rank of leaders has had the last 50 years. These young people are icons for the thousands who will chart Nigeria’s course for the next 50.”

The 50 young leaders will be unveiled to the media a few days before the event and, according to the organisers, the list will unveil the true legacy of TFA, parading a crop of achieving and inspiring young people that the awards team has found since 2006 – scientists, engineers, pioneers, entrepreneurs, and from all over the country. These 50 will be honoured and celebrated at the event.

Also at the launch event, the 20 categories for this year’s awards, the judges, the cities to be visited with Town Hall Meetings and other details will be unveiled. The media campaign for this season, which is always highly anticipated and drives all the season’s activities, will be unveiled. The last two campaigns “I am the future” and “I represent Naija”/”I represent Nigeria” were very popular, viral successes and continue to be popular years after, spurning other similar campaigns.

More info on the awards and this year’s event will be on www.thefuturenigeria.com.

Meryl and Mwisho engaged-Another love nest

First it was Kevin and Lizzy(i still believe she is using him),now its Meryl and Mwisho as they have confirmed to Big Brother that they indeed wanted to get married.

Biggie then made it official when it pronounced them engaged and told them of the engagement party plans for Saturday and as soon as they walked out of the diary room the weddings bells started ringing

Kaone told the two "You can always change your mind." and is convinced the relationship will be over the minute the show ends,"Don't be confused Africa. They will break up after the show," he said.

I must say though, I am not too convinced about it working out either, but hey it’s all good while it lasts right and yes good luck, I do hope it works out,but I'm not convinced sha maybe if Mwisho doesn't win Meryl might win and they would share the money and it looks like its their strategy to get votes...hehe(wishing them luck)

Mwisho admitted to Biggie today that he is scared but that he definitely wants to marry Meryl,Fantastic news indeed considering that all was not rosy in paradise on Tuesday when husband accused wife Mwisho of talking too much to the other males in the House.

She is the only female in the house honey, what other option does she have?

Meryl was very upset with the accusation and told him that she will not change her lifestyle for him as she has nothing to do with his relationships with the other people in the House,The argument got very heated and the couple slept in separate beds for the first time since Day 14 in the House.

It wasn’t to be for the whole night though because Munya and Kaone picked up Mwisho from his bed and threw him on the bed that he shares with Meryl.

After which Munya said “You are home”.LWKMD....I love the 5 remaining housemates

Munya, the current Head of House revealed to Biggie that he wasn’t sure that Merylisho and the wedding thing was for real but added that if it was then he offers them much respect because he wouldn’t get married on national television as he would be too scared of tripping and falling.

In other happenings in the House Kaone took some time out to get out of his comfort zone and put on a little comedy show in which he impersonated Paloma and left the other Housemates in stitches,he created a bigger butt by stuffing a pillow into his pants and went on to sing one of Paloma’s favourite songs whilst pretending to sweep and dance.

That was quite refreshing to say the least; I actually didn’t know that Kaone could be that funny.
