In 2005, Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja Nigeria, lost 60 students in the Sosoliso flight crash. In total, 109 lives were lost in the crash. Kechi Okwuchi was the only student and one of two people to survive the crash. She's since then undergone 75 surgeries. But she still needs help. She is scheduled to begin facial reconstructive surgeries in Boston this summer. In order to help her raise money for the surgeries, a Fundraiser dinner is being organized for her

“She may have been terribly disfigured by the accident but Kechi’s determination and hope to achieve her dreams regardless, inspire us each day. We would like to share her story so that it may inspire you too.”

You are cordially invited to a Fashion Show Dinner Fundraiser, themed, "A New Dawn", which would be held on the 30th of July, 2011, in honour of and for the purpose of raising funds for surgeries for our friend and heroine, Kechi Okwuchi.

Victoria aka Posh spice must be the happiest person right now,her prayers have finally were finally answered as she gave birth to a lil posh spice on Sunday, July 10, 2011 as reported in People Magazine. The baby was born at the Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles and weighed in at 7 lbs., 10 oz.

‘Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are excited to welcome their new baby sister to the family’, Beckham family spokesperson Jo Milloy said. The family are yet to announce a name for the little girl.

Now they have wronged us they wont apologize or try to make amends but if its us that steals Maggi cube or straw from MCDonald's they would take us to court and let us spend 18years first, awon oniranu(rubbish people)

Anyways J.P Morgan Chase is currently not smiling as they wrongfully accused a Nigerian-born construction worker, Ikenna Njoku of attempting to cash a fraudulent check of $8,6463.21 issued to him by the bank itself.

Ikenna, 28, was a former customer of the bank and was issued a tax refund of $8,463.21 by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a qualified new homeowner,he requested the payment be transferred to his account at Chase bank, but before the payment was made, his account has been closed by the bank due to him overdrawing his account.

The bank then removed $600 overdraft charges, cut a cashier’s check of $8,463.21 and mailed it to him. On getting to the bank to cash his money, he was badly treated by a bank official who allegedly thought the cheque, and his claim that he owned a home, were fraudulent.

He left the bank to go and attend to other issues after a long delay and went back the following day only to be arrested and thrown in jail.

When the bank realized it had made a mistake, they left a voice mail message with the detective handling the case, but unfortunately for Mr. Njoku, it was the detective’s day off hence he wrongfully jailed for 4 days.

While in jail, his car was towed away from the bank’s premises and eventually auctioned off, while he also lost his job. To cap the insult, over a year after the incident the bank has not even deemed it appropriate to offer an apology to him over the unfortunate incident,

“They [Chase] haven’t even sent me a letter or apologized, It’s been a year we’ve been trying to contact these guys.” He said.
The bank has now apologized after being written up by Njoku’s attorneys saying they are studying the situation to be able to come to a “fair resolution.”
Fair resolution indeed, after 1 year, this guy better sue their ass and make good money, you think its easy to smell court let alone dey jail.I really hope he has hired good lawyers these people need to be taught a lesson or two Rubbish and nonsense.

Chei i feel really sorry for people in Lagos now oh,especially my fellow lekki resident,as Kas would say "O ti shele"! I heard the rain that fell on Sunday the 10th of July was on another p,i witnessed some of it sha. Thank God my car wont spoil again sef because if you know the no of times i have had to repair that car or borrow my mothers car or perch with my father to work you will feel sorry for me.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment, Mr Tunji Bello had this to say:Dear Lagosians, please bear with us. Today's downpour has been heavier than normal as the state government had earlier warned. It has been raining since 5am in many areas and it hasn't stopped. The water level has risen incredibly so that the channels that are meant to discharge the water from the roads and drainages are completely locked because of the high tide and because both the Atlantic Ocean and the Lagoon that receive water from our channels have risen more than usual. Please be calm and do not panic. Once the rains subside, the water on the roads would gradually disappear. Our men are on the field working to manage this situation. Please endeavour to remain indoors as much as possible until the rain stops. Thank you for your understanding.

How una dey na,i know i know i havent been here in a while, its my new job at TV Continental, but now i have a little break we back on.
