SEUN KUTI CALLS OBI ASIKA A BITCH
This whole ish supposedly started when one of Seun Kuti's fans began quoting the Afrobeat singer.
@societyHAE: @RealSeunKuti keepin it all the way real. "we should be supporting African music, not African musicians that are trying to sound European" the fan tweeted
"@ObiAsika: @SocietyHAE @RealSeunKuti support good music period wherever it comes from and don't restrict the choices and tastes of urban african youth!" Obi asika replied
@SocietyHAE: @obiasika agree! do you! just quoting Seun. #AFRIKA21
@ObiAsika: @SocietyHAE #AFRIKA21 he is entitled bt many artists all over africa doing great music and that's all we need to hear about
Seun took Obi Asika's tweet as a diss and replied on facebook
"Mr Obi Asika. Stop chatting shit bout me on twitter I an entitled to my opinion and if u got beef see me when u see me bitch! I didn't name no one so if u feel like its ur artiste then u knw u making bubble gum music"
This is me wondering why Seun has to be outrightly rude, its not like his making any music here abi?

LIGHTS, CAMERA, IDOL! IT’S THE BIGGEST SHOWDOWN ON TV AS NIGERIAN IDOL’S FINAL 2 CONTESTANTS GO HEAD TO HEAD FOR $100, 000
After several months of hard work and music, last weekend on Nigerian Idol was the semi final night. Following the tearful exit of Stephen Onochie, the two finalists Joe Blue and Mercy Chinwo sang for their lives on the Nigerian Idol stage. Joining Nigerian Idol’s dynamic judging trio as guest judge was none other than Season 1 judge and Chocolate City CEO Audu Maikori. Also joining as star guest performers for the night was rap impresario ‘Ikechukwu’ and EME boss and R&B star Banky W.
For the semi-final stage, the contestants performed three selected songs from their playlist so far in the competition. Joe Blue kicked off the performances with his choice, ‘One Moment in time’ by Whitney Houston, which was not adjudged his best performance in the competition. He redeemed his image with an exquisitely choreographed performance of Amy Winehouse’s ‘Rehab’ which was chosen by the music director. For his last performance, Joe did justice with his Nigerian contemporary selection of ‘Ifeoma’ by Felix Liberty. The climax of his performance was when he fished a ring from his pocket and slipped it onto the unsuspecting Yinka Davies finger to the delight of the audience.
Fabulous Mercy as she is fondly called began her round of performances with an emotionally charged version of Whitney Houston’s, ‘I look to you’. For her next performance, she put on her dancing shoes for a superbly choreographed and vocally powerful performance of Amerie’s ‘One Thing’. To cap up what was already an extraordinary show, the fearless diva zoomed in on a power-bike for an unforgettable remixed version of P’Square’s ‘Chop my money” by P-square. She was commended for a job well done by guest judge, Audu Maikori who emphasized that she gave the regular song a big performance.
According to the site www.nigerianidol.com, the exciting reward promo ‘Live Your Life like an Idol’ continues as more and more winners emerge.
Last week’s biggest winner was Solomon Ameh with a whopping N820, 000 cash prize. Fans have the opportunity of winning up to 2 million naira daily, up to 4 million naira weekly and a grand prize of up to 10 million naira.

AMAZING APARTMENTS WITH POOOLS IN PLACE OF BALCONIES
Architects have made a splash with a bold design for new towers in Mumbai featuring swimming pools enclosed in glass instead of balconies.
Known as Aquaria Grande, the 37-storey skyscrapers were the result of a collaboration between Hong Kong-based architect James Law and Indian real estate company Wadhwa Group.
The complex would have 200 apartments, three levels of car parking, a gym and sauna.
They are so beautiful and innovative too, i want one *hubby,i'm sure your seeing this* but come oh! how safe is this thing? because i cant see anything holding the pool like a blockage, isokay, i'm sure the architects know what they are doing.

FLYING CAR BECOMES A REALITY
Somebody shout hallelujah as my dream of flying cars is becoming a reality.
Woburn, Mass.-based Terrafugia Inc. said Monday that its prototype flying car has completed its first flight, bringing the company closer to its goal of selling the flying car within the next year. The vehicle — dubbed the Transition — has two seats, four wheels and wings that fold up so it can be driven like a car. Last month, it flew at 1,400 feet for eight minutes. Commercial jets fly at 35,000 feet.
Around 100 people have already put down a $10,000 deposit to get a Transition when they go on sale, and those numbers will likely rise after Terrafugia introduces the Transition to the public later this week at the New York Auto Show. But don't expect it to show up in too many driveways. It's expected to cost $279,000.
And it won't help if you're stuck in traffic. The car needs a runway.( na to dey go MMA2 everyday to take off na, because Lagos traffic is on a whole new P)
The Transition can reach around 70 miles per hour on the road and 115 in the air, spokesman Steven Moscaritolo said. It flies using a 23-gallon tank of automotive fuel and burns 5 gallons per hour in the air. On the ground, it gets 35 miles per gallon.
