All roads lead to GET Arena on the evening of Wednesday, the 22nd of December 2010 for a Fashion Show/Concert tagged #MAD. #MAD is an acronym for Making a Difference and is being put together by a group of young Nigerians who want to make a difference. The proceeds from the event are going to be used to refurbish the Local Authority Primary School, Ibeshe Sea Beach.
The following designers will be showcasing their wears that evening, Misogamist, Babushka, Rof, Onyx and Pearl, Akpos Okudu, Uyai, Wana Sambo, Temmini Couture, Souza, Drunkymunky, Olatosweett. On the music front, Mo'cheddah, Wizkid, Beazy, Rilwan, MrWalz and Steaze are all billed to perform. The event will be hosted by Izien the freak.
According to the Kolawole Lamikanra the leader of the #MAD Team, "the event promises to be one of class, celebrating fashion, good music and at the same time making a difference in Nigeria."
