The 2010 MAMA’s is over and it lived up to all expectations and i hear it started on time(meaning no African time)am impressed. The night’s biggest winners were Nigeria’s Tuface Idibia & Congo’s Fally Ipupa,in addition to taking home the biggest award of the night (Artiste of the Year) 2face also won in the Best Male category,P-Square won Best Group for the 3rd year running,Sasha took home the award for Best Female with Mo’Cheddah rounding up the Naija wins with the Brand New Act Award. Sasha performed with EVE, who was the evening’s host.Other performers were Banky W who performed an African-All-Stars remix of his hit Lagos Party with Big Nuz (South Africa), Paul G & Cabo Snoop (Angola) and Barbara Kanam (DRC).
