My friend is getting married and I absolutely cannot stand the guy... Not only does he drink and smoke anyhow, his a ruffian, uses up all her money and beats her.
She asked me to be on her train and I said no, so did 3 of our friends, I don't know what else to tell her.
She says he would change when they get married and we both know that's a flippant lie, I don't know what else to do to dissuade her, even 2 of our friends have stopped talking to her because of this issue but she no wan gree.
We've been friends for years, very close friends and always look out for each other and why shes hell bent on marrying this guy baffles me
I'm tired oh! Pls advice

Tell ur friend to run for her life.
The thing is the mantle of being a gud man doesn't just fall on a mam cos he's married. You don't become responsible spontaneously just cos u av a partner.
Responsibility shld b dere b4 marriage. That guy's goin to ruin ur friend. Empathize with her and let her know you have her best interests at heart. SHE CANNOT MARRY THIS DUDE
she cant marry this guy pure and simple, what! beats her and on top takes her money, biko run
put her in prayers,,since she loves the guy.. changes are bound to happen. maybe getting married might change his perception of life.. support her if she truely is your friend . i bet u wouldnt regret in later on when she starts enjoying your support to her marraige.. besides maybe she doesnt want to lose the guy or she is d 1 with d problem..... abi?
Hmmm I don't think he'll change oh! I've heard one to many stories like this
The only thng u can do is pray...since al other ways of tryn to get her to change her mind aint wrkn...prayers seem to be the last and surest way to set her free from the bondage she's abt to get into...I dnt evn understand why she has refused to see wat evryother person sees...
No no no she shouldn't marry this guy, it's not worth it doesn't she read other people stories or even watch tv, u guys aren't married and his beatingyou up and taking your money on top. Girl you deserve better,I'm sure you have a very bright future ahead of you this idiot isn't worth your love.
Yeni Dearie,
Now, more than ever the 'bride to be' needs her friend to be TRUE FRIEND. The friend should ensure that her disapproval of the marital plans does not affect their relationship.
I smell several other underlying issues with the 'bride to be' and she might need professional help. So the friend should not judge but if she is financially, sponsor/suggest such as pre-nuptial counselling.
This is getting rather long, so hugs n kisses girl!
