ACTION CONGRESS TAKESTHE FRONT ROLE IN EKITI STATE

After a very long battle that lasted 41months and 7days Kayode Fayemi yesterday Oct 15 emerged as the governor of Ekiti state. He is to take over, immediately, from Eng. Segun Oni, who had held sway since May 29, 2007, according to an unanimous decision of the Appeal Court sitting in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital.

Led Justice Ayo Salami, the five-man panel declared Fayemi and his deputy Funmi Olayinka, the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN candidates in the April 2007 governorship election, as the duly elected governor and deputy of Ekiti State having won the majority of lawful votes.
This just goes to buttress what we have been saying, you do everything within your power to make sure you alone seat on the power seat and now you have been openly disgraced Eng Segun Oni..
And this is a very big congratulations to his excellency the Governor of Ekiti state and his deputy Funmi Olayinka and praying that God leads them in every area of ruling the state...Now we have 3 female deputy governors if not more..Lagos(Sarah Sosan),Osun(Erelu Olusola obada) and now Ekiti(Funmi Olayinka)
