WHAT TO DO?

Went to the Style night fashion show, wasn't half babd but a lot of gayishness on display but all in all wasn't bad. Met a couple of people, there was a particular guy that sang a song(he is under Toni Payne's record label) and to me he was the only one that moved the crowd, his song "BORN TO RULE ABI BORN TO REIGN" was just really lovely.. Toni payne looked rather..... Adora Ukoh looked hot,Julius and his wife all lovey dovey,Yam and a couple others big ups to my Linda Ikeji.
Now to the matter of the day,on my way back from this,I stopped over at C(let's call her that) to get something and we began talking and she is in a very funny yet not so funny situation. This particular guy wants to get her something and she doesn't want to take it but she wants to(she doesn't want to take it because its her friends ex) and she said Yeni what do u think,as a good friend and its sunday I no go lie I said ask for a tear rubber range rover,a trip to the bahamas for me and her or better still a blank cheque, jokes apart as much as I want her to take it,I don't want her to take it so it doesn't seem like she is a bad friend but the thing is the guy in question is her friends EX,EX OH! NOT CURRENT BOYFRIEND,I don't exactly see the biggy.. But she really is confused and doesn't know what to do,so we need some advice from our readers.. And did I add she is really pretty,so she has most guys at her beck and call... Waiting to hear from you... Xoxo

JIDE KOSOSKO FOR "HOUSE OF REPS"

I have said it before i think its high time i start running for Local Government chairman of the Eti-Osa Local government, am sure of votes na....
Na wa oh!news just reaching our stables has it that renowned actor and director Uncle Jide Kososko is aiming at the house of reps under the Action congress of Nigeria party..Here's what he had to say

"As you know, I have been in this industry for many years and I have contributed immensely to the growth of the industry. I know for sure that if the given the necessary support, motion pictures would go a long way to support the economy of this country. Unfortunately, quite a lot of people who are in government are not supporting the industry in any way. It is very bad and what I normally say is that, they don’t know the advantages of this industry. I am part of those who facilitated the bill for motion pictures and today that bill is still waiting for approval at the federal house. The life of all those benefiting from the industry is at stake. If the bill is approved, a lot of amendments would be made. Like I always say, the industry needs to be adjusted to the current trend; it need to be properly regulated; a lot of amendments must be made. I am planning on representing the Bariga/ Shomolu constituency. If you look at that particular area, you would see that it is one of the underdeveloped areas. There is need for everybody to complement the work of the Lagos state governor. It is my intention to use the constituency to propagate the effectiveness and goodness the industry can do to the state and Nigeria as a whole. The industry that I served is definitely a viable one. I have the intention to reflect the advantages of the industry which I belong from that constituency for the nation to see. This would assist in the positive verification of the motion picture dream. The motion picture industry can do a lot to the industry. I want to do this by providing film schools, good locations. It would engage everybody. To me, it is the biggest. It would engage everybody. It would provide job opportunities." So there you have it, we wish him all the best.

MUNYA IS $300,000 RICHER.

NA WA OH! This thing pained them oh!,it pained me too sha because i really wanted him to win...

ZIMBABWE’S representative in the Big Brother All Stars reality television show, Munyaradzi Chidzonga, is probably the only person in the world who can say coming second beats coming first.

After missing out on the show’s US$200 000 prize, he returned home on tuesday to be greeted with the news that a new bank account opened for him had the tidy balance of US$300 000.

On top of that, he fulfilled his childhood dream and met President Mugabe at State House in Harare. Harare Businessman Mr Philip Chiyangwa joined hands with the National Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment Board to launch a compensatory fund to raise a US$300 ,000 (three hundred thousand dollars)respite for Big Brother Africa All Stars' runner-up Munya Chidzonga.

The money, according to Mr Chiyangwa, who pledged a residential property, would compensate for the blatant "unfair adjudication" that led to Munya's loss to Nigerian Uti.

Munya - christened "The Diamond Boy" and/or "Son of the Soil" on Monday expressed gratitude to the Zimbabwean fans who rallied behind him during his 91-day stay in the BBA House.

In an interview from South Africa, Munya could not say much, but only thanked Zimbabweans for their continued support."I am grateful for the support that I got from home. This is only the beginning and we are going to make sure Zimbabwe is back on the map," he said.

Zimbabweans from all walks of life expressed dismay at the turn of events on the final day of the BBA All Stars amid indications of a Munya victory.Addressing journalists in Harare yesterday, Mr Chiyangwa, who was flanked by NIEEB chairman Mr David Chapfika, said the fund would enable Munya to get over the trauma caused by the final results.

"We are not happy with the way everything has turned out. The whole process was flawed. The entire vote was flawed; it was far from reality as Munya was the perceived winner.

"Even Uti who was announced winner expressed shock because all indicated to a Munya victory," he said. Mr Chiyangwa said the results had also undermined the essence behind the reality television show.

"We saw the show as a platform to empower youths, but the whole thing has since been distorted. However, Munya is our own hero who deserves a befitting compensation. "Where there is no hope, we will build hope. We want to spite those who have robbed him of his victory.

"The results were flawed and were 'cooked' up because indications from the previous week showed Munya was way ahead until they decided to rob him of his victory," he said. NIEEB chairman Mr Chapfika said the results were a mockery to the whole show.

"We are not doing this because Munya is from Zimbabwe but we believe the adjudication process was flawed. If the people who voted for Munya called out his name every time IK asked who the winner was, the results were just shocking.

"The unfairness is what we are trying to fight against. We supported the reality show on the understanding that it was a vehicle to empower youths, mentally and give them a platform to compete and vehicle for development.

"However, when the adjudication process is as flawed like we saw, then everything is put into disrepute. Munya was the obvious winner of the contest. "Munya and his fans are traumatized(on top show)but i wont lie it was painful sha and the reality show has actually become a disgrace to Africa. We do not understand what it means for a winner to suddenly become the loser.

"It's important that the contestants and sponsors of the programme seek transparency otherwise all the people who had shown an interest would shy away from it. "The promoters should also take stock of the whole process because the manner in which it was concluded undermines youth empowerment," he said.

Zimbabweans yesterday expressed shock at the turn of events at the BBA All Stars. Elizabeth Dziva, the public relations manager for MultiChoice Zimbabwe, expressed shock at the results but wished Munya well in his future endeavors.
Zimbabwe: Munya's Dream Comes True

I have said it i need to get the next big brother form, aaahn what is it....So now Munya is most def richer than Uti, Zimbabwe just vex...

AMOS ADAMU.

Nigerians we cannot but show ourselves where we, good or bad...choi
Nigeria's FIFA Executive Committee member, Dr. Amos Adamu, has been suspended by the football governing body following his alleged involvement in deals to sell their 2018 and 2022 World Cup hosting votes.(just too sad)..

FIFA Executive member, Amos Adamu, is engaged in a desperate bid to clear his name.

Adamu was at the weekend alleged to have demanded a £500,000 bribe from Times of London reporters who posed as lobbyists for a consortium of private American companies who wanted to help secure the World Cup for the United States. The United States eventually pulled out of the bidding race last Friday.

Reynald Temarii, president of the Oceania Football Confederation, is also alleged by the paper to have demanded payment to finance a sports academy.

In a video recorded by the reporters, Adamu, who told the reporters what he was doing was in the interest of Nigerian football, said in response to the question whether his being given money for a “private project” would influence his voting, responded: “Obviously, it will have an effect. Of course it will. Because certainly if you are to invest in that, that means you also want the vote.”

FUNKE AKINDELE STARS AS "MAAMI"

Mainframe Film and Television Productions is in the process of birthing another blockbuster. They have always been at the forefront in production of very lovely and educative movies which include:Arugba,Ti Oluwa Nile, Ayo ni Mo fe, Magun(Thunderbolt), Saworoide, Agogo Eewo to mention a few

Well "Maami"(my mother) is the latest movie. "I have always carried a camera with me all my life and it is so strange that I never took a picture with my late mum. I remember her everyday, more so when I am about to make a film titled "Maami",says producer Tunde Kelani.

Award winning actress Funke Akindele stars as Maami - the story revolves around Kashimawo, a successful footballer who, in the period leading to the 2010 World Cup, reminisces about his hardscrabble childhood in the southern Nigerian town of Abeokuta.

On Saturday, cast and crew arrived on location at 7:00am to begin shooting the movie. Tunde Kelani deliberated over the establishing shot of Ma’ami’s compound, choreographing every detail from old men playing mancala to the town tailor mending clothes on the steps.

Will Funke Akindele shed her “Jenifa” nickname to be known as “Ma’ami”? Only time will tell.

"RIGHTS OF A WOMAN"-MOMENTS WITH MO

On this episode of ‘Moments With Mo’, she focuses on the different forms of violence and abuse against women in our society. She speaks to a panel of experts and as part of this episode she follows the story of a 13 year old girl who was sexually abused by her uncle.

Its very revealing when these issues hidden under the carper are brought to light. Violence and abuse against women is still prevalent in Nigeria and i hope that this disturbing trend would be curbed.

ELDEE LASHES IMPERSONATOR.

What really is this country turning into..We are just graduating from crime to crime and only God can help us.

Yesterday,ELDee aka "Big boy" real name Olanrewaju Dabiri, disclosed that an individual, parading himself as ‘Lanre Dabiri’, had been impersonating him for months and robbing innocent individuals of money in the process.

The impersonator, whose true identity is yet unknown, opened a Facebook account earlier this year and posted pictures of eLDee and his family, even going as far as updating his status regularly to keep his unsuspecting Facebook friends in the know of activities very similar to the real ELDee’s.(The man is really an ole Ajiboye)

This is just really sad and we hope monkeys like this are brought to limelight sharply
