STORM RECORDS SIGNS YUNG6IX

411 Entertainment has secured a joint deal for Yung6ix with Storm Records. Yung6ix is famous for songs like Oleku Warri Remix and Plenty Money.

PRESS RELEASE:
Storm 360 is proud to announce a multi-level Partnership with 411 Entertainment in respect of their premium Artiste Yung6ix. The kid from Warri has been generating a lot of buzz with his “Oleku Warri Remix” and “Plenty Money” songs amongst teenagers and youths across Nigeria and the Diaspora after being introduced into the industry by 411 Entertainment few months ago. The Outfits have come together to sign a joint venture management agreement deal to position his music career to the zenith. The deal which was officially signed at Storm records office in Lekki, Lagos Nigeria Monday 28th March 2011 had in attendance executives from both Storm and 411 Entertainment.

The JVA (joint venture agreement) aims at positioning the brand of the artiste to the next level enabling it to compete with global brands while it dominates locally.

Yung6ix a.k.a Sixty, was born Onome Onokokwomo JULY 8TH 1989 in the heartland of Southern Nigeria. Though born to the upper echelons of society, he embraced the streets of Warri, Delta State, and was raised by music. Always a musically gifted mind, Yung6ix picked up the mic at a very young age. Studying the rap skills of the greatest mc's, he created a pattern of flows so uniquely distinct that they can never be replicated. He draws his inspiration from his surrounding, and also from diverse collection of genres. While in high school, and after a series of successful rap battles, Yung6ix hooked up with a duo of like minded artists, and G-squad was formed. The group went on to win a plethora of talent shows in and around southern Nigeria, garnering an ever increasing fan base.
After high school he directed his talents into pursuing a solo career and has recorded over 30 SONGS, not including numerous features, that got him Recognition and the acronym "King of the South".

The future knows no bounds for this Nigerian enigma. Already a role model to the next generation, yung6ix plans to reach beyond the shores of Nigeria, and lead a worldwide revolution in music. He has been described as the next best thing in Nigerian Hip-hop by Industry pundits.

Yung6ix appeals to a lot of Young Nigerians (esp. Teenagers) and has often been referred to as the Voice of the New Generation

HELP!!!!!! ADVICE NEEDED

A blogger friend of mine is seeking advice for a friend of hers, please give your candid advice. Thanks

Hello my blogger-friends, i am seeking for your candid opinion as always on an issue:

A woman came to publicly disgrace her relation's wife in her shop over a hearsay matter from a little bird. As the wife was giving back as good as she got, her hubby came out from their house to see what the ruckus was all about, but didn't utter a word, while he watched the whole drama unfolded, this irked his wife who expected him to come to her defense against his relation who was abusing her in the presence of everybody. It were her neighbours that intervened and brought the quarrel to an end.

The extended families came to resolve the matter; The wife was apologized to while the tale bearer & quarrelsome relation was rebuked severely because they found out it was simply the case of 'bad-belly' [grudge] that caused it. Her hubby refused to intervene that day because he didn't want to be seen as taking sides.

Though, he had apologized to his wife privately but she had lost the trust & respect for the head of the family who couldn't protect her! Hence she refused to warm his bed after that scene, but he still continued to plead with her. He had to report to her extended family twice about his wife's decision to starve him of sex. They had spoken to her, but she still refused to budge! Now it's going to 7months, his patience is running out....he is thinking of taking another wife since his religion permits it, because he does not want to sleep around.

My friends, i am in shock, we don't know how to go about advising him, so hubby & i decided to ask you all for help....thanks a lot as usual..i won't reply back since i am the one seeking for advise....{infact i talk too much sef! :)))))))) have a fulfilled week...shalom.

I HAFF DIED OH!! LWKMD

This is one of the funniest things i have read in a while, lwkmd oh!!!Convo thanks to NETng.com and Oluwole Leigh

0700 hrs
I woke up in the morning and my phone rang. President Janothan was on the line. He was furiously panting and breathing loudly. I got him to calm down and explain the reason for his discomfort. He let me know that hundreds of Nigerien youths had gathered at the gate of Osa Rock demanding his removal.

The Conversation ensued:

JANO: Comrade, comrade, what should I do? They want to remove me.

Me: Calm down, Oga Jano. How old are the protesters?

JANO: Comrade, they all look young, like University/ Polytechnic graduates.

Me: Good, very good, that means they are young people.

JANO: What do you mean ‘very good’? The situation is ‘very bad’. You know what such young people have done to governments all over the world and you are saying ‘very good’.

Me: Oga Jano, don’t mind them, Nigerian youth are not like all those suicidal youth that can confront armored tanks with bare fists. I know these people. Have you forgotten I am one of them?

JANO: I am really confused, what should I do? Should I go and call out Mummy Patience to talk to them?

Me: Oga Jano, nooooooooooo. Bad idea, not the time to call mummy now. Just calm down, take a deep breath and follow my instructions.

JANO: Okay, I am calming down, but I am very afraid. All my other comrades have disappeared, Ima Niboro is nowhere to be found, Oronto was last seen jumping the back fence, Orubebe told me he wanted to go and mobilize forces, but I strongly suspect he is back in the village.

Me: Oga Jano, E fara buruke bale.*

JANO: What does that mean?

Me: Don’t worry, It is a greeting in my native dialect. Now to the action plan. As long as they are young people, I can assure you that by the time we are through with our plans, they will all be gone.

JANO: I am all ears.

Me: Immediately fly in DJ Jimmy JATT from wherever he is in Lagos to come and set up and play background music. I know all those youths. The moment they hear correct jams, their anger will subside.

JANO: Ok, I will arrange for that. Let me call you back after that is done.

1000 hrs

My phone rings

JANO: Comrade, comrade, it is working. They have calmed down. Some are even dancing ‘palongo’.

Me: You see, I told you.

JANO: But do you think if we continue playing music they will eventually leave?

Me: Abi Oponu ni man yi sha? *

JANO: What did you say?

Me: It’s the way my village people say ‘Good Morning’.

JANO: Okay o.

Me: The Music we are playing is to calm them down. We now move to Step 2. This is where we will start dispersing them gradually.

JANO: Okay, I am all ears (DJ Plays ‘Scape Goat’ by D’banj in the background)

Me: Tell them that Daddy G.O has announced an emergency meeting at the camp on KM 46 Lagos/Ibadan Expressway. Tell them Daddy G.O says every young person between the ages of 15 and 35 must come to camp in the next 6 hours if they want to make heaven. Also, make sure you provide free transport for them.

JANO: But how do you expect them to just believe a statement like that? These people that gathered here for days are not that dumb to hear that and now disappear.

Me: What do you know about them? Their education and intelligence will be put aside the moment you introduce matters of religion. Oga Jano, just make sure you mention that the message is from DADDY G.O

JANO: Okay, let me get back to you (DJ Plays ‘Implication’ by 2face)

1100 hrs

My phone rings

JANO: Comrade, my good comrade, half of them have disappeared. If you saw how they were scrambling to travel down to Lagos, you will have thought the world was about to end. That Daddy G.O man must be powerful o. I will like to meet him.

Me: What do you mean by ‘you will like to meet him’? But, newspaper pictures showed you kneeling down before him for prayers the other day. You have met him already.

JANO: Aa ah ah, I think I remember now. If you know the number of places I have gone to kneel down for prayers, you will understand why I keep getting their names confused. Now, my good comrade, what is the next step? Should I do gender balancing by saying Mummy G.O says they should come and meet her?

Me: E rori e, opolo e o ju ti apeja lo *, Mummy G.O ko, Mummy G.O ni

JANO: Comrade, you have come again with your mother tongue, Is that Yoruba for ‘Good afternoon’?

Me: Exactly, we have to move to the next step, forget religion; we have played that card already. All those young people that don’t know God always know ‘Shayo’. We are now going to tap into the ‘Shayo’ factor.

JANO: Comrade, what is the meaning of ‘Shayo’?

Me: Oga Jano, I am sure you have heard of ‘burukutu’, ‘akpeteshi’.

JANO: My Comrade, You are trivializing matters of life and death. People are calling for my head; you are busy talking about ‘burukutu’.

Me: Cool Down Oga Jano. We are now going to tap into the ‘Shayo’ factor. Declare an immediate cancellation of import duties and introduction of subsidy of Moet, Hennessy, Jack Daniel and Grey Goose. Tell them that your government has decided that all those drinks will now sell for not more than N1000.

JANO: Are you serious that will work? What are all those strange drinks that you are mentioning?

ME: Oga Jano, go and try out the formula. If it doesn’t work, call me bastard. Have you forgotten I know all these people?

1200 hrs

My phone rings

JANO: Po Po po po Po pop something Po Po Po Pop something.

Me: Jano, are you okay?

JANO: Po Pop something.

Me: Oga Jano, who taught you that song?

JANO: My very good comrade, you should have seen the effect. The moment I announced a ‘National Drinks Subsidy’, they all screamed. The DJ just played a song. You should have seen how they all burst out in dancing and singing. They taught me the song ‘Po Po Po’. You should have seen them ‘pop-ing something’ as they danced home.

ME: Oga Jano, I told you now, all those young people, so-called activists, those that don’t follow The Bible will follow Hennessey.

JANO: Comrade, I assure you when this trouble is over, we will have a private session to ‘po something’.

Me: No problem sir, I remain your humble adviser. However, are they all gone?

JANO: That’s true, some stubborn ones remain o. These ones look very educated, intellectual and scientific. They seem not to be moved by God or Hennessey. I really don’t know what to do. Don’t you think I should call Mummy Patience to come and take over?

Me: Ah ah, this is not a matter for Mummy o. At all at all. Let her stay where she is. I know those stubborn ones. I know them very well.

JANO: Are you serious? You have a solution to them too?

Me: I know them very well. We have to give an academic solution to an academic problem. Oga Jona, step 4 consists of two sub-steps. Listen closely: Step 4a – Announce that you have endowed a Janothan award for good governance as part of the next Tomorrow Awards. Tell them you will move the awards from Lagos to Abuja with an all expense paid World tour for both organizers and winners. I assure you, some of them will take off. In case that doesn’t work, we move to Step 4b – You have to meet these people at the point of their needs; Declare that you are awarding Masters scholarships to Harvard, Oxford, Insead or any other Ivy league school. The scholarships are to be used for studying useless courses like Developmental Economics, Environmental Sustainability and Third World Econometrics, Social Research, Political Development. I can assure you that those that do not follow God and will not follow Hennessy will definitely follow ‘book’.

JANO: My good comrade, let me get back to you.

1600 hrs

My phone rings

JANO: My Good comrade, sorry for keeping you waiting. Your last suggestion worked but it took time. You can imagine that those educated ones, even though they were still going to leave, took about 3 hours of deliberations and arguments among themselves before they departed. I don’t understand, why do you have to discuss for 3 hours what you are going to do before eventually doing it.

Me: Oga Jano, I told you now, the educated ones are tougher, they will analyze until they paralyze. Anyway, have they all gone?

JANO: Yes, the intellectuals were the last set. But wait ooo, what is this noise I am hearing?

Noise is heard in the background; DJ Jimmy JATT packs up his equipment and takes off.

1700 hrs

JANO: Comrade, comrade, they have come again o, about 100 people just showed up from nowhere. These ones are totally different. Music does not seem to work on them, I doubt if our other schemes will work. Comrade, we are in trouble. My days in fact my minutes are numbered…

Me: Oga Jano, calm down, calm down, let me think…

JONA: Comrade, there is no time to think o. They will soon start climbing the walls.

Me: Give me some time. Let me call you back.

JANO: Ha, comrade, don’t leave me o, don’t leave me o.

1800 hrs

My phone rings

JANO: Comrade, why are you no picking up my phone. How can the Chief Commander in charge of the Nigerian Forces be calling you and you will not pick up?

Me: Commander ko, Ebenezer Obey ni.

JONA: Same to you, same to you hundred times. You think I don’t know you have been abusing me in your mother tongue. You have forgotten that I did my NYSC in Osun State? You think… (Cuts in)

Me: Oga Jano, I will drop this line o…

JANO: Comrade, comrade, let us put our emotions aside. We are all tired. It has been a long day. Let us not turn on ourselves. I beg you in the name of all that are IZON, what is the solution to these latest set of brigands? Talk now or I am in trouble…

Me: You know the solution already. It is with you.

JANO: Stop speaking in parables comrade.

Me: We need to call on Mummy Patience. Go and address the youth and tell that Mummy Patience is coming out to address them and then wait for the reaction.

JANO: Aa ha, comrade, if it backfires we are all in trouble; you, me and the rest of us.

Me: Just go and tell them Mummy Patience will come and speak to them

1900 hrs

Phone Rings

JANO: Po Po Po Po Po Po something, comrade you cannot believe it. Unbelievable! Unfathomable!! Unimaginable!!! They have all gone, disappeared into thin air, vamoosed faster than the harmattan wind that blows in my hometown, Otuoke.

Me: Oga J, tell me something. How did it happen?

JANO: The moment I told them that Mummy Patience was coming to speak to them. They all took off in various directions, shouting that they are afraid for their lives. They were shouting that they do not want to die young. It must be a sign of respect for Mummy patience. They must really respect her or how else do you explain the fact that people who are not scared of AK-47 are suddenly scared of Mummy Patience. It is simply too much respect for her

Me: Aah, Oga J, You will not understand. If they had allowed Mummy to talk, it would have been more than AK-47. They have too much respect. In fact, the word is not respect, it is ‘Reskept’. Help me tell Mummy that Nigerians reskept her too much. Reskept is too much. If all fails, try Mummy P.

BALMORAL UP IN FLAMES.

Wow, this is just so sad,The city people awards was going on in the Balmoral hall in Oregun in Ikeja and i hear from reliable sources that it was just a little fire that could have been controlled but everyone stood looking,am guessing its shock.

According to NET ng, the fire started at about 4:05pm shortly after the event kicked off, a caterer who was trying to light the liquid-spirit used to heat the food that was to be served at the event mistakenly lit her dress on fire. She hurriedly removed the skirt throwing it into the air, but it got in contact with the canopy, which served as an overhead covering at the premises. Efforts to quench the fire with an extinguisher proved abortive as the extinguisher’s gas only made matters worse as it accelerated the fire outbreak.

DAMOLA AND ZUSI BOLODEOKU.

Love knows no boundaries, tribe, color, size, all that matters is that you have each other and you will be there for each other through thick and thin.

Meet Damola and Zusi Bolodeoku.
Zusi met Damola on her first day at work in a bank,Damola a senior officer in the bank showed her round and they immediately hit it off as friends.Apparently Damola had been "eyeing" very cute and petite Zusi and then went on to tell Zusi's boss a very good friend of his who eventually told Zusi and that began a whirlwind romance.

They dated for 2years,getting to know and understand each other better and then Damola proposed to her on the 14th of Febuary 201,she says though she expected it,it was still very surprising because of the length he went to make everything all so perfect and special and he still does.

They eventually got married in July 2010 at a very beautiful engagement as Zusi is from Edo state and Damola is Yoruba and then went on to an equally beautiful wedding ceremony as Zusi walked down the aisle in a beautiful Bridget Awosika dress.

Zusi's advice for ladies in a relationship,"I would advise every single chic in a relationship to remain patient with her man because things always work out for the patient girls*she smiles*, and most importantly make it a duty to know your mans formula because every man has his own formula and by formula i mean what makes him tick.Though am still young in marriage and learning by the day,my greatest advice is never lose communication as "communication is key"

MY NEW IDEA.

So i was in my room on Monday morning last week and i just said,"Lord pls give me a new idea and take my businesses to a whole new level" and immediately something popped up in my head "COUPLES".
So here's the new idea:Its called couples and basically what we at omoyeni-disu.blogspot.com do is that we get a couple that we know, are familiar with and have stayed through the test of time,we get them to tell us a bit about themselves, their relationship and how they have come to love each other more and more and they also give advice to people looking for love.
So if you want to be part of this send your story to homemadeentertainment@yahoo.com and we would get back to you.
Now am looking forward to these new column on the blog...woohoo

BOBBY KRISTINA CAUGHT SNORTING COCAINE?

National Enquirer published a picture of Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown’s daughter Bobby Kristina snorting what they say is cocaine! This pictures dont look exactly convincing but then again we dont know what to believe. But i hope she not actually doing drugs because her parents are by products of the effects of cocaine and she of all people should know how it all works.

She released a statement:
A former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like. God will smite them yes..But it’s really not what it looks like.. People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I’m very hurt by this.Thing’s people do these days to hurt others is a shame. All I can do now, is keep my head up high, keep looking towards the lord. All the lord is telling me is be still. That’s all, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. #BeStill. I love my family so much.

My mom just comforted me to the max, and I’m so thankful for her. Thank you so much lord for blessing me with an Phenomenal family and incredibly phenomenal mother. Thank you for giving me the strength to move forward and put things in the past.

And the person that did this was a result of a horrible relationship that went sour. I was in love_ he was in love with money. I’ve learned My lesson. I’m so much greater and blessed for it today, and I believe nothing less. That is the last I will speak of this, let’s praise god And be grateful and thankful for your family, and people that truly love you, strength, courage, and life lessons learned. GodblessUall

PASTOR ADMITS TO SEXUALLY MOLESTING KIDS.

This is so sad,i really am weak now,why on earth, a pastor for that matter, all his preaching ti ja si gutter(meaning all the talk don fall for gutter)Albert Odulele, a 47 year old pastor based in the United Kingdom has confessed confessed that he indecently assaulted a boy under 16 year old at the Bexley Magistrate courts, He also did the same with another male who is slightly above 16. No one knows whether he had been doing it for a long time.
The 47 year old Pastor, who is also the leader of Glory House Church in east London would be sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court at a later date, said Metropolitan Police.
So many times when i am with friends or people in general and we get talking and then land on the subject Nigeria and corruption, the way i defend my country even with Nigerians, you would think i was vying for a public office but i do it because i believe Nigeria is a good country filled with good people but some "i dont know what to call them"lurk beneath.Pls we should join hands and pray for Nigeria, there is still hope.

BROTHERS ARRESTED FOR KIDNAPPING.

Two brothers were arrested by the police for their involvement in the kidnapping of a 12 year-old-boy, whose name was withheld by the police for security reasons. Akinyemi Akinyosoye, 23, and Seun Akinyosoye, 19, allegedly abducted the boy on his way back from school two weeks ago and collected N55 000 ransom from the parents for his release later in the week.

The abducted boy was the key factor that led to the arrest of the kidnappers after Apparently the boy stumbled upon a passport photograph of one of the brothers he had stumbled on while he was a hostage in their apartment at Ojokoro area of Lagos, after his release, the boy gave the photograph to his father who took the issue up with at Ikorodu Police Station, where the elder Akinyosoye was easily identified because of his involvement in another case under investigation at the station.

The police said the brothers had initially demanded for a four million naira ransom from the parents, but the brothers claimed they had only demanded for N100 000, which was meant to “sustain” themselves. The elder of the two brothers said his vehicle, used for car hire business, had been grounded for some time and that they also needed some money to get it back on the road.

The younger one has a secondary school certificate but is unemployed. “It was raining on that day, and we hid somewhere to hide from the rain and the young boy also came there,” said the elder Akinyosoye. “We interviewed him and he told us that his father works in a bank. We didn’t have money to sustain us, so we now said maybe this man can issue some change so that we can repair the vehicle. We told him that he should come and know our place, and that his father would come and pick him.”

The brothers said they eventually collected N55, 000.
That little boy is so smart keeping the picture he found, may God save us from this kidnapping act becoming the order of the day.

SAFETY TIPS.

I got this from Bella Naija and thought to bring it on here,it is very true and we should all follow these safety tips to prevent any mishap oh!

1. Computer Science expert, Dr. Latifa Ayoola Ph.D says, NEVER. Repeat, NEVER share your passwords with anyone you are unmarried to. She says, It might be real cute (or cheesy, depending on who you ask) to share your password with the person you are dating as a show of openness and transparency, STOP IT! It compromises not just your privacy but that of your contacts and whatever sensitive information they may have shared with you. In fact, the same rule should extend to your cell phones and computers. This is not paranoia in anyway, but sheer sensibility.

2. Most of us have passwords that are simple and very easy to remember which also makes them very easy to guess – e.g. Mother’s maiden name, spouse’s other name, favourite city in the world and so forth. Even if you’ll make it simple, always “hybridize” your passwords. This means that you should always use a combination of numbers and text for your passwords. E.g. WhipMyHair1985 or 2000JingleBalls or Scape300Goats

3. Do not overlook those security questions! They’re important too! The default ones are a no-no because anyone who knows you quite well, will probably know what you first phone number was, or the first car you had and so on. However, when you change it to “When did I first eat Akpu?” that makes it a lot trickier for whoever is out to hijack your account.

4. Keep it funny and unpredictable. As a person, I’m quite forgetful. So forgetful that I’ve had to use the “forgot password” option many times. And then, it struck me and I changed one of my passwords to “Jingle Balls” Aha! Who would forget that huh?

Take a moment today, and go through all your emails and change your (weak) passwords and security questions, just in case.

My own even if you are married to the person, am not saying something would happen its just sensible that your passwords are kept to yourselves, the divorce rate is happening like you drink berry blast oh!

HOW ENIOLUWA WAS RETURNED.

At a church service on Sunday at the Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos, father of 10-month-old Enioluwa Odegbaike recounted how the family got him back from the kidnappers.

According to him, they had done everything asked by the kidnappers, yet the kidnappers refused to return the boy. He said that the kidnappers had contacted him severally on the phone promising to release the baby but would again call to postpone until he received a text message on February 26, around 6pm ordering him to get to Benin Republic before 7pm. On arriving at the designated point in Benin Republic, Mr Odegbaike said the kidnappers told him he got there too late and was subsequently diverted to another location. He was told to get to the new location via a commercial motorcycle by 2am in the morning.

He said that a woman also arrived at the same location on a motorcycle with Enioluwa strapped behind her. She was guarded by around 10 men, none of who covered their faces. As Enioluwa was being handed over to Mr Odegbaike, one of kidnappers said to him, “I took care of your boy because you were nice to my staff.” Mr Odegbaike did not state categorically if a ransom was paid, but added that he did “everything they were asked to get Enioluwa back.”

LOL
