Yesterday Wednesday September 7th 2011,the whole of Lagos was throw into panic as a staff of the Ikeja Local Government area discovered what was suspected to be a bomb in one of its air conditioners.Fellow workers and visitors dashed for safety , some of the abandoning thier cars.
Reports say the explosive device was planted and connected to the air conditioner with the motive to explode as soon as the AC was turned on.
The Lagos state Police commissioner immediately drafted its bomb experts to the scene, who immediately cleared and secured the area and have took the device for investigation....
Investigations are sstill ongoing.
